Alright guys, I checked to see if there was a wheel forum so I hope I don't get flamed for posting this question here. Forgive the newbie….

Anyway, I've been thinking about upgrading to 18's on my Titanium 2002 330i sport pkg.
What do you think about ASA wheels? . Specifically these wheels ASA R1 silver finish on my car? Oh if anyone knows can I get BMW center caps for it or just use the ones I have on my 17" OEMS? One more thing what do you think about Pirelli in general? If you have experience with Pirelli PZero Nero M&S what do you think of them .
By the way on Tirerack I'm getting a 1,500 quote w/o shipping any place you know that could beat it? I know I have a lot of questions..

[thumb] Sweet ride, I used to run strictly Pirelli's on my bimmer until what I like to refer to as the Great Pirelli shortage of 2005. I was forced to try a different brand because all my usual spots... Tire Rack and local dealers were on 90 day plus back order. My flat out favorite tire for All Seasons and conditions is the Pirelli PZero Nero M&S It handles in blinding snow, Monsoon rains and sticks like a Son of a Witch on dry pavement. Trust me you can not go wrong with the Pirelli PZero Nero M&S. I am already looking forward to my next set of Pirelli's. I am currently driving the Toyo Proxes 4 which is an acceptable substitute however, I needed some heavy convincing. The only thing I did not like about the Pirelli is the lack of a wheel rib fringe in order to protect the wheels from curb rash. Happy Motoring... [driving2]

I have the P Zero Nero M+S on the 325i. Those tires are unbelievable. I am using them for autocross, they stick like flypaper AND work as well in snow as any M+S tire I have ever owned. When the factory Goodyears wear out on the 330, it will likely get PZeros.

I vote for #1, can't beat the design and light weight.
Those CSL wheels are the ones I want for my M3.

BMWJO, is the wheel pictured in you post an actual CSL wheel or is it a repica and what is the price/size/width of the wheel pictured as well? I agree with Tom I would get those in a heartbeat. I love those wheels. I them really bad....

Ahh, I found those wheels and they are replicas. I wonder what the price would be for a set of those. I would still stagger them, but maybe put larger tires on. I may (sometime in the future) go with 245's up front and 275's in the rear....

Tom, what are you running on the Breyton's now?

Bigger wheels = less rubber = hard ride and dented rims.

I never understood the this craze with butting giant rims on a
car with 1" of rubber between the rim and road.

Your car looks awesome as-is, enjoy!
