When I start my engine car in this morning, one light remain on in the board lights. I don't know what this light means, and I'm affraid for some big problem. Please, if someone can tell me what this means and how can I solve the problem, I will be very grateful.
You can find the sign in the attached light on.jpg file.

I have a similar issue... although mine specifically says "Brake Lining". I've been told that my linings are fine, but the board that drives the light is bad (and having them replacing it will be in the neighborhood of $300). The light goes off intermittantly, but I was wondering myself a) will the S.I. Board that Bavauto sells work as a raplacement (the board is $124), and b) how difficult might it be to do the repair, or c) snip the wire to the light and forget about it.

There are 2 brake warning lights aside from the ABS and the Parking brake light. Which one are we talking about? The brake lining light frequently gets worn from rubbing on the strut housing and causes the light to light. If this is the case, just splice the wires back together if the brake pads are OK. The other light indicates a low fluid level in the master reservoir.

The brake lining light should not come on unless the sensor is worn to the point of needing pads or the wire is frayed and rubbing on the strut etc. Simply driving hard such as we do in a driving school should not energize the light. It is strictly a mechanical connection, no electronic sensor. It lights when the connection is broken such as when the wire breaks or the pad contact wears through.
