Hi all!
I went in for an inspection at a local BMW dealership to only pass the emission test and fail the state inspection He was trying to be funny and said "I have shocking news...you're rear shocks are leaking"[fake] Please...I didn't find it too amusing, but basically I told him to hold off since my inspection isn't due until end of April since he quoted me at around $420!!!
In all seriousness, how hard is it to do it myself? I'm asking for anyone's help to save some cash. I really appreciate it and thank you very much in advance!!!
By the way, it's for a 2000 323CI...Also, how alarming common is a problem like this? My car has less than 43K on it and the previous owner was an old gentlemen who took meticulous care of it.
