ok so this may seem kinda lame, but i need to find a good shop in the "L.A. Area" that won't rip me off...I'm new to the area, about a month here now... I'm from the bay area...my dad works up at Peterpan BMW in San Mateo and so i'm away from any of his discounts/labor hook ups and all the tools!!!

i just need to change my break pads/not sure if i need new rotors...(i might even be able to have him order the parts and ship them to where i'm staying, not 100% sure though)

i'm staying in west covina for the moment and commuting to burbank so a shop in either place or in between would be great

thanks

[thumb] The short answer is for you to contact your local BMWCCA and they will have a list of preferred repair shops in the area. If you do not have the information to contact your local BMWCCA then contact the National Chapter to get the local numbers. I recently moved to the Nations capitol and needed to find a shop that would not rip me off. The local chapter sent me a list of repair shops and even those that extended discounts to BMWCCA members. I hope this helps you... Happy Motoring...
