Okay, so a month and a half ago, some 17 year old kid decides to make an illegal u turn from the right lane, across my lane and across the double yellow line. I swerve into oncoming traffic lanes to avoid and he still comes across and clips the whole right side of my 325i. So after a month in the shop, I get it back. They end up replacing the doors, body work, replace rear tire and send out my front rim to get fixed. Also do a wheel alignment.

So I pick it up and complain that the car is pulling to the left big time. So I take it back a week later and they re-do the alignment again. Still pulling to the left. So I take it to BMW dealership for it's service, etc and have them take a look. They say that there are bubbles on both front and rear tires on the right side (one is brand new and the other the rim was worked on).

So take it back to the body shop and they claim that the rims were perfect when I left and that the only explanation is that I hit a pothole. In all my years of driving, I have hit tons of potholes and never bent a rim, let alone two at the same time. I also am having a hard time dealing with this since, one, I didn't hit any potholes in the past 2 weeks, and two, it is the same tires that were recently worked on. Not to mention that even two alignments could not fix whatever was causing my car to drift left big time.

I just feel all this sounds like to way toooooo much of a coincidence, but at the same time, feel like it is my word against theirs. Is there anything anyone here can think of in regards to this situation. Otherwise I am looking at several hundred dollars to fix two bent rims and replace 2 tires.

Thanks!

Pete
