Since delivery of my car (in Nov of 2003), I've been plauged by a number of irritating "electrical system centric" problems. I've already read about the tilt-mirror feature on this forum (my mirror actually doesn't work at all). I've also had some faults with my Nav system (reading "Please wait a moment...")

The last straw came when, this past Saturday, I was travelling at 70Mph on the highway and my entire electrical system shut down. I lost my gauges, lights, Nav, everything related to the electrical system completely shut off for about 5 seconds. The engine was still on.

The dealer claims they can find nothing wrong. I tend to think all these problems have to do with the fact that I have a major glitch in my electrical system/on-board computer.

Can anyone offer any advice?

I have seen the "please wait a moment" on my screen before. But it was when I was using a DVD copy of the DVD disc. With the copy I also had the nav screen come up blank, and the nav computer rebooted while driving. I put the orig back in 2 months ago, and the nav sys worked perfectly. I have since made a "better" copy (burned at 2x, instead of 4x) that I am using that seems to be working fine. It's been in there a week.

Which leads me to believe your DVD player may be having trouble reading your nav DVD.

I also had a seal missing in my right tailight assy, which caused water to enter the batt compartment which killed my batt. They replaced the light assy and car has been fine since.

Your case is a difficult one to solve no doubt. Since it's intermittent. I feel for you bro, good luck and keep us posted so we can help....
