Sure that is what 90% of all vehicles use, remember though that Ford uses something different than GM which uses Dexron. Check the owners manual for the proper oil, if it does not say than either will work. Keep in mind that 7 series with self leveling use something totally different and they cannot be mixed. It is Penstion and expensive.
