power up your bmw

i am not looking for criticism on what i want to do. I am just simply asking your advise because most of you probably know more on the subject then me. I am 17 and i have a 2001 325ci. i am have a job this summer and i want to spend the money on making my car faster. what are the best things to add or replace in my car to cheaply and effectively increase the power.

any help will be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to bmwboard, howver you should not start your first post assuming that you are going to be criticzed, makes us think you think we are a bunch of ... well you know. Be more positive!

To answer your question nothing can be done cheaply, some things cost more than others. Might I suggest a new "chip", and intake manifold and maybe a performance exhaust. None of these things are cheap, but a chip will run about $400.00. Check with Bavauto, and some of our suppliers for performance upgrades for your car.

BMW's are pretty much tuned up out the door.

Not like 'ricers' [bmwkick] where you can add a bunch of cheap add-ons to improve HP.

It can be done, but it sure ain't cheap. Supercharger, anyone?

IMO, the thing that needs some added performance in the BMW is the stereo. What about maybe an upgrade to that? I recently upgraded mine and love the improvement for @ $300.
And, be careful; Big Daddy has been known to slap people around a bit.

Hey there welcome, im 19 and i have a 2001 330ci. I also am lookin for some great upgrades, but money is no option really. i've been lookin at superchargers , but just haven't found the right one for me yet. I anyone has any suggesttion im all ears.
