Does anyone know who designed the E-46 ?

I'm pretty sure bangle had a hand in designing it. He also had a very small part in designing the E39.

I believe he was the lead designer on it, it's just that he was under orders to update the E36. "His" cars are the current ones where he was given free reign to do whatever he wanted. I believe Dooyhinky (whatever his name is) helped and can be credited to a couple of the "Bangle" mostrosities.

The original E46 was worked on when Bangle was big in the department, but he wasn't pulling the shots.

The facelift was all Bangle.

And yeah, Bangle did ruin the design the idiot.
