I assume you were on 91N stradling the VT and NH state lines. The interstate is heavily patroled by both VT AND NH State Police. Almost all neighboring states have reciprocity. Not to distant future ALL states will be hooked up together similar to FBI's NCIC. How did he get you and were you using a radar detector?

most states have agreements with surrounding states but i don't know aobut all of them... I'm pretty sure new york and PA don't and they are right next to each other. You would have to check out specific states... can't generalize an answer for you. There's no answer that applies to all.

Every state uses NCIC, it is the National Crime Information Center. NCIC though does not keep any driving stats, unless the violation is a misdemeanor or felony. Driving records are kept by individual states, however any state can access another states drivers records.

thanks for all of your replys. i guess im just going to wait it out and see if it gets sent to my insurance. i was driving on 91N and i saw a pickup truck on the side of the road. i didnt think anythin of it until i passed it. the part that sucks is that i was just driving the speed that traffic was going at. i was just the one who got nabbed. i didnt have a radar detector because i was driving my sisters car up to her and i didnt feel like takin the v1 out of my car.

Hah, you need some speeders advice..... Heres a good strategy for you never drive over 80 in a 65mph zone, the cops usually think twice before pulling someone driving >15mph above the speed limit. And *whenever* you see anything on the side of the road or something sticking out or one of those crossovers or "limited visibility curves" give yourself a little "brake" and slow down to below 80. Overall 75 is an ideal speed to keep your (computer or mental) cruise control on. Also observe your surroundings, you never know when a cop might be driving up behind you.[:D] Some routes like the NJ turnpike are just too heavily patroled to do any speeding, and others have certain "someone woke the cops" days.

If you do speed, speed briefly for the thrill, not blatantly. In the long run it's not worth it, in NY state if you do 15+ above you get 6pts and a fat fine, (not to mention insurance) anyhow goodluck.
