Pulling out the Stereo

Hi guys,

Im looking to rip out the ol stereo system this weekend and was wondering if anyone had a list of the dash parts that you need to remove or a website or something that could help me with the process as i havent been able to find much and i dont wanna rip out more than i have to

I guess u don't need to rip off anything but the stereo, but to do that you should have some
kind of tool which u insert into two holes each on one side of the stereo and unscerewing the screws in there...

There is a special screwriver that you can use but a small flat blade one will work as well. Just unscrew the screws and disconnect, its easy and takes 5 min. To replace with a different one beware that BMW wiring is unique.
