Question about cup holder

My sister in law just bought a E46 318i in Asia.

The bad thing about it is that is costs as much as 330ci here, and there is no cup holders under the armrest. It's some space used by cell phone (I dont know how to describe it, I never seen an E46 without cup holders and I never get a picture from her.)

Anyway, I'm looking around to see what can I do for her, is it possible to purchase the whole cup holders unit?

Go to Bimmerfest.com or Roadfly.com and post your request there. Many people changed from the cupholders to the "euro tray", like your Sis has. I bet you can get one cheap from them.

My question exactly. Those cup holders are butt-ugly. It was the only thing we DIDN'T like about the car. Will they fit the '04? The listed ones say '99-'02. Are they the same???

i got an email reply ... yes the tray will work on '04. I contacted my local dealer to order ... supposely cheaper

Yep. Dealer had the same thing for $34.95 vs. $49.95 on that web site. First time ever a dealer is LESS $

Mine is supposed to be in tomorrow.....My sales guy is still "grabbing his ankles" after our negotiation. I don't have the heart to make him pay for it Heck, he even came in on his day off to do the paperwork for the original sale

my sales guy .. they supposely get certain amount of credit so they can give out 'free' gifts to customers when they buy new cars. he ran out ... haha so he had to pay $6 for it
