I hitted the curb. now my steering wheel is little off center. I took it the Stealership. SA just call me that follow need to get done:

1. Right side camber bearing bent 480.00 parts and labor
2. Restraight the shock tower 117.60
3. Perform balance and alignment 149.00

My SA pretty cool and he said he can get it down to $620.

Do you guys think it's good deal??? or it's something I can do it myself for alot cheaper?

TIA

[thumb] I guess you hit the curb pretty darn hard... I would call a local chapter of BMWCCA and ask about the local independent bimmer shops. The labor rate is always cheaper and the work is usually twice as good. I haven't used the Stealerships since my bimmer oast waranty. I only use the local club recommended independent bimmer shops occasionally owned and operated by bimmer club members. Just my two cents, but independents have to compete with the stealerships therefore I have always known them to work over-time to keep my business. Happy Motoring and avoid the curbs...

[thumb] Dude, that's an easy button answer... The nearest Chapter to Dallas, TX is the Lone Star Chapter in Richardson, TX. Follow the link:http://www.lscbmwcca.org/ This should be all that you require. Holla back if I can be of further assistance. Happy Motoring...

[thumb] Hey Nadroj it stands to reason that you could assist Dumayou in finding a good reputatble independent bimmer service center. I recommend against the Stealerships unless it's the only option available. I sure you can be of service to a fellow forum mate. Happy Motoring... I'm with the National Capitol Chapter myself...
