I'm just about ready to take delivery of a 2005 ZHP through the Military Sales Program. When I contact the delivering dealership (with whom I've had no relationship with through out this transaction), I want to have them tint the car, install an alarm, and throw in some floor mats. What is a fair price for these items? My guess is that they would try to rape me since they've gotten nothing out of the deal. Thanks for your inputs...

patch, email me at iamkraft@hotmail.com.

I did mine this time last year, but it's still fresh.

for others reading, your right, they will not give you toilet paper to go to the bathroom. It's 100% courtesy to you and they get no reimbursement. Therefor, they don't do anything.

email me, I'll fill you in. (give me a few details, like what office you dealt with, and where your taking delivery... stateside? port?)

I'd tint someplace else. If you're in AZ, consider Huper Optik or V-Kool tint. Much more effective in blocking heat than regular tint.

As for the alarm, buy it somewhere else and install it yourself. If they offer to do it for less than $400, it may be worth your time if you're a busy person with no mechanical skills whatsoever and don't have any mechanically inclined buddies. It's not hard tho.

Floormats are kinda expensive. I think $50 and up.

Good place to check prices is www.pacificbmw.com or www.circlebmw.com They're generally the cheapest dealers. If you actually buy from them and call, you have to ask for the internet sales dept.
