Radio antenna

Does anyone know where the radio antenna is located? Is it a part of the back window, along with the rear window defroster?

I just had my windows tinted all the way around, except windshield. Now I notice that my AM reception is not as clear as before the tint job. However, FM sounds as good as ever. Anyone else experience this problem?

I believe the antenna for all of the cars, except the convertibles, is in the glass. Since some tint compounds use metal in them, yes, they can affect radio reception, and yes, AM and FM can be affected differently.

I have my windows tinted and the reception is fine AM and FM.

The antennas are located in the rear windshield in the top section above the defogger elements. I believe there are actually two of them. If you look closely you can see the split. The convertibles of course have a mast.

I remembered the manual says there are 3 separate antennas built into the rear window somewhere...
