I've downloaded the 0wner's manual for the 2004 330Cic convertible from the BMWNA site with the hope I could get a headstart on studying the Navigation system details but the index refers me to the "Radio/Computer" manual. I can't find that manual on their site. Can someone point me to where I would find this manual in pdf format, if available. Thanks.

I had the exact same desire while waiting for my car....but was not able to locate the manual anywhere online.

You could try this: [?|] [?|] [?|] [rofl] [rofl]

Or if you have any specific questions, go ahead and ask away and we'll try to answer.

Or you could search this forum for "navigation" as there have been a few threads regading questions before.

Okay, thanks. I'll check to see if our radio manual in the wife's 2001 325 convertible has anything about the nav in there when she get's home tonight. Meanwhile, a few questions come to mind: Is your 2004 nav system DVD, CD or based on some other data format? Does it cover the USA down to street level? If DVD/CD is the drive accessable and where located? Will we have to pay for updated nav info as time goes on? Does the nav give verbal guidance if so desired? Can the average guy/gal who needs a manual and an hour to set the clock on a VCR learn the nav system? Thanks.

Where did you find the manual on BMW's site? I'm about 98% ready to take the plunge and buy an '04 330Cic, but would LOVE to have a look at the manual first. I've got a brochure, but I'd like to explore more details about the cars features, and how to operate them.

I'll go look for the link and paste it here for you, although it might not work for you. Don't recall if you have to be a registered BMW owner to access the manual downloads. I can also try emailing it to you but it's a 2.8 meg file and my satellite email system might choke on an upload that big and/or your email system might not accept a file that big. Hang tight for awhile, let me work on it a bit later, have to dig out from under a snowstorm so my wife can go to work. It's 6:45 am Eastern time now.

Well, turns out you have to be an owner with a VIN number or a production number for a car in order to download manuals. So, I can try to email it if you like or if you know somewhere I can park it/upload to then let me know.

You guys rock. If you send it to my .mac address it'll be fine. Send it to me at: bryanjohns@mac.com

Alternatively, if you're a Mac user and are using Mac OS X, you can just put it in the public folder on my iDisk (same name: bryanjohns). Thanks man!
Okay Bryan, it's on it's way, the satellite seemed to be in a good mood this morning, it didn't choke on the file, I zipped it as RP suggested which took it from a 2.8 meg file down to a 2.45 meg file which helps a bit. Let us know if it reaches you in good shape.

Got it and am reading it right now! If you come across the Radio / Nav manual I'd love to look at that too. Can't wait to join your ranks -- as a proud owner of a 330Cic

Thanks again!
