Hi there

1)anybody can help? i was driving my beamer 325i e46 one night and when i stop to prevent a rough bump, my air condition very quickly just went out and when i accelerate for a couple of metres it came back on again? is this normal?? does anyone out there has this experience??

2) seat belt indicator? does the seat belt indicator lit when the driver doesn't wear a seat belt? cause my doens't.. is this normal?? pls help?

My seat belt indicator light goes off after a few seconds like the ABS light does. I only just noticed it and I can't remember if it did that since new or not. Weird, my '96 Corolla knew when you weren't wearing it, but a new BMW doesn't... it just makes sense.

Yeah i know.. the seat belt light should remain on all the time until the belt is put on.. i better check with the BMW dealer and see what he says.

Nope the light is supposed to go out after 2-3 seconds. It's supposed to warn you 1 time, not constantly. BMW's decision.

Ok .. so it's nothing wrong with the indicator is it?? so BMW deliberately did it like this

They completely changed their mind with the new 5 and 3 then, the thing doesn't fricken shutup if you take it off.

BMW should at least keep the seat belt indicator on until the driver or the passenger wear their seat belt
