Rear Brakes

Fairly simple procedure! Pick up a Bentley manual, it will help out with a lot more than just the brakes!
Very easy to replace the brakes, front or rear. I wrote a couple of DIY's for the pads and fluid for different BMW's. But they are all pretty much identical.

And here is the fluid flush. You can check the full E30 brake replacement (practically identical to the E46) or just scroll down to the flush:

The full brake job (rotors, pads, flush) will take you 1.5 hours tops, including wheel removal/mounting and if you've never done it before. Invite a friend to help out though - more fun and easier when bleeding. Hope it helps.![[wave]](/images/smilies/icon_smile_wave.gif "Wave [wave]")
