Hey all, I recently picked up a 1988 325is with a seized engine. My 1987 325i needs new rear wheel bearings. Can anyone tell me if the rear end and axles are compatible and if so how much work is involved in putting the '88 gears in my '87?
It's very easy, probably the same, and if not it's probably just the input shafts (which pop out with a screwdriver). I have pics I'll post later for you of my dif swap.
