rear end

Ok so i was at a stop sign last night and took off and got a loud clunk and now all it does in gring, so i checked it out and i shelled my rear end gears. anyone know if they make aftermarket ones 3;73 or 4;10?

im assuming they make aftermarket ones, to make the gear lower in the back.

find one at the junkers... pick up your 5 speed while you're there. They don't really make aftermarket rear ends... they rebuild them. Your local tranny shop might be able to help you out... unless you have $2G lying around to get one from the dealership. No powertrain warrenty when you bought the car?

its a 98, im guessing it has no warrenty left. i wish it did thought. yeah i think what the 318 328 pretty much any of those will work. did they use the same gears in them all? im guessing no. which means ill have a speedo issue. inless they have a warrenty that i dont knwo about.
