resetting fuel consumption, avg. speed - help!

Hi I have a 323 Coupe E46, and live in Australia (hence the different units of measure)

Does anyone know how to reset the 10.5 L/100km (fuel consumption) or 40.5 km/hr (average speed) of the on board computer?

You know that nice BC button on the signal lights?When you press it in it displays multiple functions when you get to the desired function either average speed or fuel consumption hold the button in until it changes, hope I described it well enough....

Yup, hold in the button. If you are looking at the MPG, it will change from "12.3" to "- - - -". Same for MPH. When you see the dashes, that's the indication that the computer has been reset.
