rev limit?

I was doing donuts on a wet ground and i got a bit carried away and the RPM needle shot up to as far as the needle can go. isnt there suppost to be a limiter that shoots me back down a bit. thanks guys

Did it make a 'bouncing' noise? If there were NO rev limit, it would rev to the point of blowing up (well, not that exciting...)

The rev limiter is at 6500 rpm, usually the needle will go higher than that just because of momentum or becuase it doesnt react as fast as the engine.

I wouldn't worry about it, just make sure you try to keep those RPM's below 7k, or you'll end up with engine problems.

Our engines sound so good at those high rpm's dont they?
