I gotta agree with the sentiment...

when I test-drove the 325... all I could think is... where's the beef?

the 330 is great! It really kicks the G35's but... but at a $10K premium (comperably equipped)... that being said, it's $10K well spent if you've got it!

Yeah, BMW needs to refresh their engine line. 200hp 200lbs. ft of torque should be a minimum in this day and age from a 6. The G35 even gets better gas mileage to boot.

And BMW, please provide the same suspension on the xi's as you do the rest of the lines!

In order to provide a linear torque curve sacrifices have to be made sometimes. I think BMW does a great job with both the 2.5 and 3.0 engines. I miss nothing even with my 2.5L. The acceleration is both smooth and quick.
