Rim Scrapes and Dent

My 2003 330ci is coming off lease soon. I will either re-lease or buy the car.
One question the car is in excellent shape with the exception of the rims. I have a few 1" long scrapes and last week I hit a pot hole and now have a small "bow" in the front passenger side rim. Is there any way of repairing these without purchasing new ones?

Thanks,
Joseph

Yes, there is a rim repair company that repairs rims back to new. When the dealership put a HUGE gash in my rear rim, they sent it off to this company and it came back looking brand new...

You will have to put down some cash though, I'm not sure of the name of the company but your local BMW dealership/advisor should be able to tell you that.

Good luck!

Wheels can be 'trued' just like bike wheels, however depending on how bad the dent 'in' is from the pothole, you may have compromised the wheel, especially if it's more than just a dent 'in' but is 'warped' sideways in any fashion from the impact.

The curb rash is easy stuff to get fixed, and offers you a chance to get your whels powercoated and looking like new. [:)]

Good luck!

I got my rims fix two days ago, he basicly sanded it down, paint and clear coat it. the curb rash of one of my wheel not too bad,,but one is bad. After he fixed it...seem like new again..really great job...cost me $150 for both. I think it's really great deal. I'm happy again!!! [thumb]
