So I am putting this metal pole for my closet in home depot's parking lot and as I close my back door, it slides down and my door slams right into the sharp edge of it. So I now have this small half circle gash in the top leather part of the door panel. What can I do to minimize the rip? There has to be some sort of something or another that can "heal" my car's wound. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

If it's ripped, I don't think there is much you can do by yourself. It's not like a scratch on your paint where you have options. Have you checked out how much it would cost to have it repaired at your BMW dealership?

Not yet, it just happened last night. I don't expect to be able to fix it completely myself, just looking to see if there is something I can do to make it a lil less noticeable until I can get it fixed.

Those leather and vinyl repair guys do a pretty good job. I have had them do some work on the 7 series I had and you couldn't tell it was done unless you knew were to look. It's a lot better cheaper than replacing the entire panel.
