Sat radio & 6-disc changer

Hi,

I was thinking about getting Serius Satellite radio, and a 6-disc changer for my 2004 330cic with nav.

The folks at BMW told me that I can't have both at the same time, only one or another. Is this true? BMW was wrong about Bluetooth in the '04, so I figured they may be wrong on this issue as well.

P.S. I was also told that I would have a black, square antenna mounted on the trunk for the sat radio. Sounds ugly.

They may be right about not having both; I was told you can't have the ipod adapter with Sirius. They're probably right about the antenna, esp on a convertible. Here's what it looks like-mystic blue, too. Gotta say, Sirius is great; I hardly listen to CD's.

I don't have Serius, so I can't speak on that, but you can definitely have XM Radio AND your 6-disc changer without any crazy looking attachments (i.e. XM Commander). For it to work, you'll have to purchase the BlitzSafe Adapter ($180). Be sure to get the "Blitzsafe BMW-MINI/SLD 01 BMWMINISLD01" on blitzsafe.com. The SLD 01 has the CD changer pass-thru, so your changer will work with Satellite radio by pressing the "Mode" button.

If Serius doesn't work, switch to XM!
