Took the 325 in for its schedule I yesterday but I had to leave it overnight. I had a loner , actually a rental from enterprise because they didn't have on even after I was first on the list . I don't mind a rental for a couple of days . The SA kept me informed me about everything that was done and answered all my ? 's about extending maint. warranty and 3rd party warranties after the manufacture expires. I was very satisfied with the dealer . HOWEVER , after parking at the mall, my wife says " OMG , look at that dent " . My heart sank. Below the molding on the dr door a small dent , tiny infact, but noticeable . Its the kind of dent that you 'd always see when getting in your car and would piss you off . So we booked it right back and told the SA . He said no problem, bring it back in the morning and the dent doctor will fix you up , no charge... I'm like , uh yeah of course no charge . Th efunny thing is that the dent doctor checks all the drop off for service to see if he can drum up some business. So the SA refered back to my clean bill of health for " Sasha " and apologized and said see you in the morning.

Overall a very professional experience, I'm just glad we caught the dent in time..Thank God..

So guys , and gals, be sure to doulble check your vehicles before you drive off...

I had a similar experience where the dealer scratched my bumper and broke a corner off a bumper reflector while the car was in for other service. Everything was fixed though. They were also very professional about it.

So imagine how anal I am now about checking my car after getting it back from them.....

I just picked my car up from the dealer, they where suposed to just align the car.
i noticed that someone had put 38 miles on the car, hell of a test drive.
I didn't say anything though because I dropped it off with an empty tank and they filled it without charging me.

There would have been a huge hole in the roof of that service dept. where I would have gone through it.

Doesn't that just suck!!! Dealers try and get away with what they can. My front bumper had to be repaired after the dealer scraped it against a wall, or a black car last week. If I had not noticed it before I left the dealership, they might have said I did it (of course they did to say anything)!!!!

A few weeks back, the Chevy dealer had to rebuild the transmission in my parents' Impala. When they got the car back, they discovered that someone had put close to 100 miles on the car, the radio station was changed to a rap station and was cranked up, and the A/C was on full blast (it was still cold out, so my parents didn't have the A/C on when they brought the car in). What the crap??

I don't understand why dealerships let this crap happen at all. I mean, if they can't even return the car to you in the condition you left it with them, that doesn't speak well for the quality of service they do on your car. I hear so many bad service stories from all different car companies, and it's just stupid. I've been lucky, I have not had any problems with Park Ave Infiniti in Englewood, NJ and they've always been super curteous to me (and they never put unexpected miles on my car or anything like that). Not that I'm scared of taking my car to a dealership when it's time for service, but it's nice to know that they do care enough not to harm my baby, and they even respect my request when I ask them not to wash my car.
On a sidenote, I am taking my car in on Monday for service. [driving]

hey MrE funny you should mention the request not to wash because mine was washed and I worried that all the hard work I put into her was all swirled up . Good thing its silver and doesn't show blemishes as much..I'm going to have to request they don't wash also ..
