This hunk of rust has been sitting in my driveway for a year now, and I think I'm done stripping it of everything I think is worth keeping. (blower motor, wiper motor, headlight buckets, locking gascap door lock, ECU, fuses, relays, idle control valve and module, misc. interior parts, etc...)
I'm thinking of removing the differential. Is it going to be compatible with my E30 M42 convertible? Is it worth my time and effort to remove it? What parts are compatible with the 318i that I should really be removing to save myself a pain in my pocketbook down the road?

More importantly, does anyone in my area need any parts off of it? I'll remove anything you guys need, within reason, and I probably won't ask much money, if any at all. I'll probably scrap it by the end of the week. The engine itself is very strong. The vavles need adjusting, but other than that, it's in pretty good shape. Probably about 200,000km on it... I swapped it into the "es" from my old "e" automatic and replaced a bunch of parts in the process (clutch slave & master, shift tower brackets, shocks, yadda yadda yadda.

PM me or email (scott097@hotmail.com) me if you need anything, but don't wait too long please.

Cheers

Scott

you wouldnt want to put the diff from the 325es in the 318i it would make it really really slow, the 318i that is, because the gear raios are different. it would work but it would just be very slow
