You can't go wrong with the E30 M3 Recaros. I put a set in my 318 and they are quite possibly the most adjustable, comfortable seats that I have ever had.

yeah, thats a lucky seat
Buuuuuut, i dont think Miki knows how to sit in it properly.
I don't really care if she knows how to sit properly as long as she is on my lap. [driving]

BTW, are there any seat replacement for less than $500. For $1249 each, the damn chairs is going be more than my 325E [?|] , just can't see the justification. :)

I'm also interested in replacing the seats in my e30 (cracking leather + worn springs + hard horsehair = very uncomfortable ride). Does anybody know if 2-door seats can be installed into a 4-door car? I would like to upgrade to sport seats, but I don't want to buy them if the won't work. ;) The springs on my rear bench seem okay, and the leather isn't TOO bad, but I think I'd rather have foam padding than horsehair, and I don't know if it's possible to "convert" a horsehair seat to foam.

Since I'll have to get the seats used and it will be harder to match the current tan color than to just buy a set and change the color, does anybody have any suggestions for switching interior color, for either replacing or recoloring the doorpanels and carpeting? I don't know if there were any colors other than black, burgundy, or tan available (grey would be a nice match for my arctic blue exterior, methinks).
