I have a new 2004 330Ci that's due for a detailing. I am tempted to go to the dealership (Seattle BMW) as they do a pretty good job, but they charge $200. That price isn't bad, but it rains every third day here so that's a lot for 2 days worth of cleanliness, and they aren't excellent. Doing it myself is not an option due to where I live (apartment building with underground lot, and time constraints. Where do you guys typically takes yours in the Seattle area?

Hello, I do my own in the garage. I just stripped and started waxing the 750il today. When you say detailing are we talking a wash and wax, interior and exterior? How complete do you want it? I have only lived in the area for six months, maybe I should open a detail shop for BMW's?

i propose, as dan said, to do it your own. save the money and spent a nice day of your weekend taking care of the car.
i worked at a detailing shop years ago and did that work on my own. those guys are under time pressure. i know that the work is not done that carefull as it would be if you do it your own.

I detail my cars myself, but if the Eastside is an option, there is a place in Carillon Point in Kirkland that I have heard does good work...I think its called Eastside Auto Salon or something like that. Anyway, I seem to recall him wanting around $250 to polish/wax/etc...its in the parking garage down by the marina. http://www.eastsideautosalon.com/
