I had a Mustang 4 cyl many moons ago that I never changed the belt on. It broke at 75K miles or so. That was the LAST time a belt ever broke on me - I learned from that - I quick inspect the belts every time I open the hood, and replace them per the maintenance schedule.

[thumb] Dude, here's some information on scheduled maintenance as well as belt change data. I hope this is useful. http://www.gms.cc/maintenance.htm I religiously follow this schedule including intermediate oil changes at 7,500 mile. The only thing I ddn't see here was the spark plug change schedule which I currently proform at 100,000 mile intervals. I'm currently 10,000 miles from my second ever spark plug change. Just my two and a half cents. Happy Motoring...
