Setting the Time on a 2001 330

Ok I've been trying and trying and refuse to look at the manual.


How the hell do you do this?

I think I've figure out it has to be done on the dashboard..... [welcome]

with the computer toggle, get to the time.

then use the right pin? that pokes out. (the left one is used to reset the trip odo) turn it right to make the time move forward, and left to make the time go back.

of course this is all iirc.. [:p] sorry its late, and i dun wanna go out to the garage to check. it's coooold out there, like just above freezing cold.. burr

The only thing that is stupid is you have to keep turning that nob through all the minutes to get to the next hour. Is there a way to make the hours go up and down without running through each 60 minutes?

some of the clocks on the cars are really confusing, on my 318is it took me a month after daylight savings time to have my time correct, i spent like 30 minutes on the car concentrating on figuring it out cuz it was an hour behind and got home and thought it was earlier and was sad everyday :(

VCR clock vs Car clock? i wonder who'll win. [:D]

on the x5, you go through the computer. at least one equipped w/ the nav system. i LOVE how universal everything by one company is!
