Howdy Yall,

I think having 4 headlights is cool but i would like to bring them down to 2.
Does anyone have any ideas on combing both lights to have just 2 headlights.
I would like to use the left outer headlight hole for intake purposes.

I have searched around the junkyard looking for a headlight I could convert. No Luck.
I havent seen any kinda kits sold anywhere.

Thanks,

Josh

I dont know? I am wierd like that. Ask me why I have no interior and I will say the same thing.

Dont you think using the headlight hole for a intake port would be great?
Maybe I'm wrong.
If get enough people to tell me its a dumb idea, I wont do it.

There are people who use one high beam hole as an intake port. They generally screen it over and leave the other high beam in place. I dont see any reason why you couldn't take a standard single headlight system and modify the wiring to accomodate it. Unless they don't make that headlight in the 5 3/4 size.

As far as looks, if you put a custom grill in it should look ok. Or just leave the holes. People do all sorts of customizing to their cars that some people like and others don't. You're an individual. If you like it that's all that matters.

Don't they already have 4 high beams. The two in the middle are extra. Least my two outside headlights are high and low beams.

Am i reading the question incorrectly?

No, you're right. I just don't know how much light the outer high beams put out. Those lights are made specifically for four light systems. I think the two light high/low beam systems have a larger outer diameter and put out more light.

You can just put in a round headlight with the low and high beam element thats the right size. BMP Design did this on an E30 that they put a m52(?) engine out of an E36 M3. They needed it to cool the inter-cooler and oil cooler. Go check out there website. I am sure the wiring is reasy to switch. If you wanted to get fancy you could take wire plug that plugs into the back of the headlight out of another car that used the dual element round light.

BMP did put some type of metal screen in the high beam light holes, made it look mean with the other body work done. Check out there website, you wont miss the car.

Well I went to look up the car myself and now the took it off there website. It was an awsome car to look at. And I was wrong about the inter-cooler being cooled from the headlight. One was an Air intake for the engine and the other was the oil cooler. So sorry guys, cant show you the picture.
