slight rear twitch on hard accell

i have a strong running 89 325 ic auto
on occasion when shifting on hard acceleration between first and second the rear of the car will shift to the right slightly, no its not breaking the tires loose. i can not find any loose bushings on the rear control arms. the car has 90k on it.
anyone have this prob when shifting a standard?????

I had the similar feeling with my '86 e30. Replacing the subframe bushings took care of it! Also check your diff mounts while your at it.

I hearing that more and more - or seeing it more and more, rather - on this board when it comes to cabrios. Yet, I've never heard it before this forum. Could it be because I live in a place that lacks snow?
