this is on a 2002 330ci w/ harmon-kardon sound system.
My front passenger side speaker (not tweeter)...is making a noise during a certain volume or bass. I should say more clearly after some investigation it is actually the vinyl interior wall covering at the far bottom left (where the speaker resides), that seems to be vibrating against the actual door. When I press the vinyl against the door, the noise disapears.
I have full maint on the car, and took it to two different bmw dealers more then once at each location. They did everything except fix the problem. They reseated the vinyl trim, they replaced the clips holding the vinyl to the door. Checked speaker, replaced speaker. At this point I don't know what else to do~!~
Anyone have a similar issue, and if so was it fixed and how?
thanks in advance!
