Depends on how sporty do you want. I am very happy with my ZHP. The suspension is perfect, it is very firm, but not to point that feel uncomfortable (to me). The sound of the exhaust is deep and powerful. The aero package fits perfectly to the style of the car.

If I need to choose one again, I will still go for the ZHP. However, I strongly recommend that you test drive both to see how you feel.

My personal preference would be the ZHP. But, if you're coming from a Denali, you might like the wood trim and slightly gentler ride of the Sport/Premium combo.

I bought a 330i last year with sport/premium. At first, I started questioning my decision to forego the ZHP. The more I think about it, though, if I had just gotten the performance package, I wouldn't have xenon, a moonroof, heated seats, rain sensing wipers, wood trim, etc. The car would have been too expensive. As a matter of fact, I'd would have been closing in on M3 territory. The 330i looks bad-ass enough, so the appearance mods are no biggie. It's still the best sport sedan on the market anyway. My $0.02

I have a 2004 ZHP with Steptronic, moonroof, Xenons, fold down rear seats, metalic paint, Assist and Leather. I love the car. My son has a 2003 330ci with Sport and Premium Pkg as well as 18 in wheels. It is nice too. He encouraged me to go with the ZHP and I do not regret it. All in all it amounted to a $3K difference. Either way you will like the car. It is still 10 - 15K below the mid to upper 50s of an M3. And if you have been a BMW CCA member for a year you get $500 back from BMW besides any discount you can negotiate with the dealer.

yeah, I priced out an M3 for fun last night. It came out to $59,000. That's only for the coupe version too. I don't think the ZHP price runs into M3 territory if you compare equally optioned out cars. Geez, my car was just about half the cost of that M3.
