Thanks, archang, that is so cool. What program did you use? Better yet, how do I make that my signature so it appears below my posts?

Nice job. Looks great. Zaino?
This may be blasphemous to some...but I'm not a big believer in the natural waxes like carnauba. They're over priced and don't last very long. They look great and but my car sits outside all day [:(]. I like a good synthetic based wax. Shown here is a base of polymer 3M. (I clayed first because we're already getting spring pollen here.) The second coat is Rain-X paste wax, which is a polymer/synthetic with carnauba. I sometimes use BMW's liquid carnauba only for a topical gloss because it's gone so fast. I didn't use it this time, in these pics. I treat the rubber strips and all with BMW's uber-whatever-it's-called (good stuff but can't remember what they call it). I wax the wheels with Rain-X wheel wax (what a pain...but works). The tires get Black Magic on a foam applicator. Windows get InvisiGlass with newpaper. A day of that is the equivalent of working out for a week.

And I should have said 'almost six years old.' I lost track of a year...I got mine in November 1998.

Thanks again archang. I think I got it working. I don't have photoshop so I have to credit you with the art work. I posted some pics to the gallery. I wish they would accept the full pixels. In the original...you can see the house across the street in my door!

Anyway...this weekend is the interior. I'm going to try bmwrocks recommendation of Goof-off to get rid of the scuff marks. This one girl has a way (don't ask me how she does it) of scraping her heels all over my car every time she gets in. I'll try to snap some before and afters. But Goof-off says to be careful and test a place before using on plastic...so I hope bmwrocks has his shit together. LOL

I bought the Mr Clean autodry car wash the other day. Today was nice around 65 F. I tried it out for the first time. The soap isn't very good, but the ionized water for a spotless finish works as advertised. Next I'll wash it using my own soap and just the ionized rinse from this filter in a handle and I'lll let you know how it turns out. According to the instructions you have to use Mr Clean soap or it might not work, but I'll see if it matters.
