Squeek when turning

I have a 2001, 330i with 52k. I have started hearing a squeeking when I am turning left at slow speeds. I really don't think it is the breaks because it does it when my foot is off the pedal, but that is the sound. Any ideas before I go to the dealer of what is maybe?

I would bet money (not much though ) that it is your front control arm bushings. They go anywhere between that mileage and after depending on how hard you drive the car. At 109,500 I'm on my third set, had them replaced two weeks ago.

Oh, and the bushings themselves are only like $100 a pair. The problem is the labor, cuz the front suspension has to be take off, then they normally recommend a new alignment. Good luck! It's a part that is made to wear so it will need to be done at some point, no doubt.

same thing occured with my family but i think the mileage was closer to 65k

I'd skip on the OEM ones, unless you really wanna deal with it again in 40-50k miles. These have gotten great reviews from the E46 fanatics.
