I've been having this problem starting my bimmer for some time. It seems that when the car is cold I have to crank on it for some time to get it to start, but once it get's warm the problem is gone. I have for some time been in search of some kind of diagram of the fuel line connections. For I've had to swap out the engine in my E30 and I have this feeling that the lines are not connected quite right. At this point the has to sit b-cuz of it and I'm not enjoying my bimmer. I've been tempted to disconnect everything and start from scratch but I need a guide or diagram to do this. As far as the starting problem, I've heard cold start valve, fuel pressure regulator, engine temp sensor, fuses, fuel pump, and the list goes on. where should I start and if I want to check my fuel line connections, where can I get a good diagram of it? By the way, my E30 is an 87 325is, but I could only find a 2.7 engine to replace the original 2.5.
