Steering issues I can't seem to get fixed!!!!!

OK, my steering is really becoming a pain. It just doesn't have that good stiffness it used to. It doesn't vibrate, but I know it's deteriorated.

Here are all the things I've done recently, and it's still a problem:

-New rotors and pads
-New control arm bushings
-New tires
-Alignment


What else could it be??? It's really frustrating. I mean, it still drives nice, but not like it should.

Try turning it with the engine off, if you hear a knocking sound it could be the same problem I had with my previous 330i. they had to change the entire steering gear box.

I tried this.

It does make a sound, but it doesn't sound that much out of the ordinary. Is it supposed to make no sound at all?
