I have a 02' 325i with the sport package. I was considering getting stone/splash guards for my car. However, I am unsure how well it will look. Does anyone have splash guards on their 3 series?

[thumb] As a matter of fact my 2000 323i came with splash guards, they seem to keep down the road grime around the fender wells and add that snazzy look to the car. I recommend the splash guards, I just can't imagine my BMW without them. That's my two and a half cents worth. Happy Motoring [driving2]

Do you have a picture posted of your 00' 323

I just joined the site, I haven't uploaded pics of my car yet. I want to see how the splash guards look.

I am on the other side of this fence and can't imagine putting splash guards on my car. I think it would ruin the appearance. I wash my car often enough so I don't notice splashes as a problem. Of course I live in Orlando so all I get is road/puddle splash, no mud or salt, so that could be a factor.

I've seen them on sedans. I don't think they ruin the looks at all cuz the sedan has that black rubber strip all around anyways. I'm still on the fence about installing them cuz I have a coupe and black mud guards would stick out a lil more on my single color coupe. Then again, my g/f has a silver camry with black mudguards and I don't really notice them so it might not be a big deal.

I would like to see how the splash guards look on the 325 sedan -- anyone any pics -- I would like to cut down on the splash and rocks too. Can you get them installed by the dealer or is it an easy DIY deal.

Of course dealer can do it. It depends on your definition of "easy" DIY. It involves drilling one screw. However, it's through plastic. Prolly defined as on the easier side of DIY projects. If you've got the tools already, it's worth a shot.

I have them on my CI and they look great. Besides keeping the grime down on the bumper skirts, i think they make my car look more sporty. imho
How close to the ground do the guards go? Cause the skirt just behind my front wheels is only about 8 inches off the ground as it is. The rear is only an inch or two higher. Don't they scrape real easy?
