Stuck seat

I was experimenting with my driver's seat to see how far back the seat back would go, when it got stuck all the way back. When I move the seatback contol button forward, I can hear a click, once. After that, nothing. When I move the button the other direction, I hear a click once, then nothing.

If that confuses you, it is me. Seatback stuck all the way back. Move control button backward, one click from somewhere in the seat, then nothing. From that click, move the control button forward, one click, then nothing.

Reading the above, I'm not sure I did any better the second time than I did the first. I hope you can figure it out.

Anyhow, I don't know how the seat comes apart, and I don't know what the system looks like. Is it a gear situation or is it wire and pulley or what? Are there selinoids on the motors for the seat? Is this a removal job? By the way, the rest of the controls work fine, so it seems to me that it is not a blown fuse, and the fuse box seems to indicate that the fuse for the seat motors are all on the same circuit.

Thanks in advance for any advice you can give me.

Try having a buddy sit in the back seat, and push the seat forward (low
towards the bottom, not high near the headrest) as you try and move
the seat forward with the controls.

Perhaps it will 'catch' and start to move forward normally.
