Hello all,
Looking for some advice here. I need to replace tires on my 2000 328i and thought may be it would be nice to get new 18".
I am thinking about getting the ones from aaarims.com. Do I need to be careful about any thing before I jump in to order those. (I don't have sport package on my 328i, which I really hate, I don't know if that would make any difference.)
I read some posts where people are talking about rolling their fenders etc. Would I have to do that with these rims (these are 18/8 with 41mm offset).

Would really appreciate your insight.

I don’t know about aaarims, but I don’t see a problem with getting the wheels to fit since the E46 can handle an offset of 45mm if not a little higher. Just remember you get what you pay for and the ride is going to be much more harsh as well as diminished acceleration due to the added weight of the wheel. You may even want to get 17's, I have them on my 540i (pics in the gallery) and IMO they fill the wheel well nicely.

Thanks. Actually I received from his friend that rebuilds cars and purchased them because he needed an engine and trans. from a 2002 5er that was in an accident. I obtained the wheels and a style 33 spare for under $1000. When I was researching tires pacificbmw was the most reasonable price around, but it seems their prices have increased. I would suggest BMW or reputable wheels, because research and engineering has been included in unsprung weight, performance and durability. It’s not as though you will be buying wheels every 7,000 miles.
