Please pretend that I know nothing about superchargers and please give me some input on the best manufactures and of those that won't void a waranty.

Anything will be helpful. If anyone has a super on there PP that would also be helpful.

This is for "practical" daily driving.... very quickly.

Thanks

Hey, we deal with ESS and Dinan at work, and have had LOTS of problems with the ESS kits. I would go with Dinan. They are expensive, but the amount of research they put into the design and quality of the kits shows you why. [thumb]

I just read that whole thing. That guy is such a little bitch. I don't think ESS should be responsible for the rental car charges, but ESS was like, "Yeah we're sorry, we'll pay". It was the guy's choice to get a rental car, he didn't HAVE to get one. Also, he's pretty pathetic by threatening to spam his problems and stuff on forums and generally the Internet. He should just sue them.

Anyone know of any other problems with the actual supercharger system, in my case I will probably never have to deal with ESS as that guy, but I would like to know that the kit is not going fail me. Any thoughts?

ESS is a pretty reputable company. I doubt the supercharger would not work or that you would have any real problems with it. ESS is very big in Europe, they supercharge BMW and Mercedes vehicles. I think you should go for it! [:D]

Sorry man, but if you're calling him "a little bitch", I'd call you "ignorant." If he's "bitching" about the treatment, then you're a clueless... you think american lawsuit is worth something all over the world? WRONG. It's worth bullshi... outside the country and europeans can care less about it and laugh at you and your lawsuit... Remember, this is America, there it's Europe... America is not in charge of Europe... PLUS bimmers DO come from Europe, so think who would be better off shutting up and forgetting about lawsuits... unless you don't care about driving a Mustang!

So do you think a 2000 328Ci, 5 speed, all options including xenon & 17inch M wheels, with an ESS supercharger, 36K miles is a good deal at 25K?
I have the exact same thing except 22 k miles + premium and sports package for 32k

that sounds like one hell of a deal to me
