Dinan is if you have about 3/4/5 years left on your warranty......
and have a Dinan dealer near you. It's not a BMW warranty, it's a Dinan warranty matching the BMW one. Non-Dinan dealerships generally won't hassle you too much with Dinan suspension and stuff. But, get into the forced induction, and that's when the non-Dinan dealers get picky about the warranty.

No problem here, the BMW dealer I go too is a Dinan dealer as well. They install all Dinan products (I even got a catalog too), service the cars installed with, and back the warranty on the product. I realize it is Dinan's warranty not BMW's, but they back it just the same as BMW. What I am getting at is if you are going to go out and mod a 2003 model BMW, you better do it with Dinan if you want the car to still have any form of a warranty. Otherwise, you will be on your own when/if the car breaks down with any other type.....

I have already extended the warranty/service period from the factory 4/50K to 6/100K and yes, I do have a Dinan dealer pretty close. However they are the ones who told me that there is no forced induction available by Dinan for my 325Ci (something sounds fishy) I checked with Vortech and hit a wall as well. Someone has to produce bracketry etc for the Dinan/Vortech huffer, no? As far as warrranty issues I am not too worried, in the event of a catastrophic engine failure:
- Step 1 to remove the supercharger, and all modified ECM components (and any other evidence)
- Step 2, call BMW for service
- Step 3, bribe your tech if necessary!

Any pics or links of a supercharged 03 E46 would be much appreciated!!

They are correct. Dinan does not have a production FI unit for the E46 model 3 series.

Here is a thread from epj3 that has a SC E46. At least that is what the thread states:
