supercharging my 330

i have a new 330 and was looking for superchargers. i came across active auto werke in florida. they carry rotrex superchargers. has anyone out there dealt with them before? what are you experiences with the superchargers? i want to make sure i am getting something good when i spend the money

AA is a great company. However I have never seen their S/C in person. they specialize in Turbo setups primarily. The product is good.

I've heard great things about ESS and Dinan superchargers (that is something that Dinan got right). One thing to watch out for though - rear subframe mounts can crack under heavy torque loads. That's a $3000 welding job if it fails. The problem was more pronounced on the E36 and earlier E46 (328 especially). Just an FYI.

For the money and horse power gain you might as well get an E46 M3.

But if you must look at:

AC Schnitzer
Dinan

and say goodbye to your engine in a quarter of the time.

Actually, if the supercharger installation is done professionally, the engine will last fine.

i called dinan. they don't make superchargers for the 3 series except for the m3.

looks like aa is the one to go with.
