suspension and air..

BMW 2002 325 i
Front Wheel Suspension
Whenever I drive over a speed bump I feel as if the weels are shifting and seems like something is loose or my wheel bushing are gone. Can someone tell me how much it would cost and what might be the problem....

Second problem... aren't BMW supposed to be air tight...
When I drive fast , i seem to hear some air leaking into the car and making a sound like zzzzzzzzzee.. from my left front door


I would really appreciate someone giving me in sight on these problem

You need to have it looked at by someone who knows the suspensiom on these cars. Possible problems include bad control arm bushings, bad ball joint. If you have it done by a shop, figure $500 - $1000 depending on CABs and/or ball joints. To replace ball joints on the E46 you must replace the entire control arm/

hello jesh, i own a 325i 2002 myself, and have gone exactly through ur same issues.
first in order to take care of the loose sensation on the wheel, ur going to have to replace the Control Arm Bushings. if you buy heavy duty ones, they cost arround 89$.

Youre second problem is very simple, it consists on replacing a molding on the upper part of the car, this molding has inside clips, when they go bad the molding opens and allows air and rain to go in the car.

When u say upper part of the car, which one are u suggesting. Is it the sunroof moulding?
