I am trying to handle all warranty issues before expiration in November and have a question about my left front suspension. When going over bumps or simply pushing down on that corner I hear a shhhh sound though I don't hear this from the other side...its very quiet. Anyone know if this is normal, worn out, possibly dangerous?
Thanks

I had the cell same problem on e36 but unfortunately never got to find out the cause. Show the dealer the problem and hopefully they will be able to diagnose it. I was however once told that it could be a slipping bush that was causing me the bother.

Your shocks are gas filled. correct me if i am wrong but working for a dealer and driving so many vehicle per day, I have never heard one NOT make that sound due to the shock compressing and rebounding with the gas moving through the shock valves..
Quit worrying about intermittent noises and enjoy your vehicle. unless it is making a very loud noise all the time, just drive and turn the radio up. Sorry to sound so rude but I get so many complaints about little slight hardly ever heard, unless your sitting on your head, with the right rear window down, making a right turn out of an inclined driveway. Please just enjoy your vehicle people. They are great cars and yes thing swill go wrong with them.
