my drivers side tail light is out but my warranty is expired. is there anyway i can fix it myself or should i just go to bmw?

Do it yourself. It's easy. Look in your owner's manual and you will find some instructions on how to do it. It also tells you what type of lamp it is so you can get it before you go to replace it. You can do it, I know you can!!!

some BMW centers will do it for free...we drove up there went to guy we always go for service...pulled one out of some drawers from his desk...went and got a service guy and replaced it on the spot for free...we just gave the service guy a tip and said bye to our friend and we were gone in like 5 minutes...depends how nice your BMW center is and if u know the guy who works there
