Hey guys, I am trying to DIY Silvervisions and I can't figure out how to take off the headlight housing to get to the blub. I looked on my330ci.com at their DIY for installing clear lenses, but I can't figure it out. I got the rubber seal off along the top, but I can't even get the plastic housing to budge. [???1] Anyone done this on a 2004 coupe?

Maybe I am misreading, but why are you trying to take off the lenses to get to the bulbs (aren't Sivervisions bulbs?)? All the bulbs come out from the back, not the front. Can you please elaborate?

Yes, change the bulbs by removing the bulb from the back of the housing. You turn it, then it comes out....the socket comes out and you'll see the bulb sitting there. Be sure not to touch your new bulbs while you're putting them in...you don't want oils from your fingers on the glass.

If you're doing the fog lights...the whole assemblies pop out. Then you take the bulb socket out of the back just like the headlights.

I only removed the covers once after about four years. A slight film had formed over time and I washed them with a mild soap. They looked really good when I put them back in.
But be careful becase they scratch real easy. Do not scrub them with anything.

This is not true for the fogs on his '04. If you are doing the fogs, let us know and we will direct you on how.....

Interesting...the fogs don't pop out? Do you have to access the back of them from under the car?

I was doing my front blinkers, trying to get rid of the eggyolf effect. I figured it out. The passanger side is a pain! My fogs are next as soon as my xexonmatch's arrive. I already read your post on how to do it bmwrocks. Thanks guys.
